CoaLogix Has Been Awarded Five New Contracts for About $3,000,000

New and Existing Customers put their trust in CoaLogix and the NOxAssure Program

Charlotte, NC, August 10, 2009 – CoaLogix announced today that its SCR-Tech, LLC subsidiary has received five new contracts for selective catalyst reduction (SCR) regeneration and management services worth approximately $3 million. CoaLogix, a leader in SCR environmental services for electric utilities, signed these new contracts with five separate electric utility companies.   The electric utility companies cover several geographical regions in the US, including one contract for a utility outside the US.

CoaLogix has experienced remarkable growth over the past year.  Through the first half of 2009, the company expects its revenues to almost equal revenues for all of 2008.  Customers have trusted CoaLogix’s strategy oriented services and technical expertise. Over the past seven years, CoaLogix has proven that regenerated catalyst costs less than new, can be available faster than purchasing new catalyst, significantly reduces landfill and has a much lower CO2 footprint than new catalyst.  To date, CoaLogix has regenerated over 14,000 modules of catalyst, many during actual plant outages.

According to Bill McMahon, CEO of CoaLogix:  “The confidence in our process and services that is exhibited with these five contracts is humbling.  The fact that three out of the five contracts are from new customers exhibits the increase in services that coal-fired plants will require in the near future.  The majority of this work will be completed this year and is only possible because of our plant expansion completed in the last year.”
